About Charlie

Training

Charlie's training started off at her local dance school, training in a variety of styles from ballet to street and everything in between. Charlie then studied Dance at Truro College, achieving a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dance.

Charlie then auditioned for many dance conservatoires, receiving places at Millennium, Performers and LIPA. However, due to finances, Charlie continued her training at home in Cornwall, again at Truro College. This time gaining a Foundation Degree in Dance, passing with Honours (2014). Following this, her degree was topped up at Falmouth University where she left with a BA Hons in Dance Performance (2015).

Alongside her Cornish training, she also trained with the YDA - Swindon Dance CAT (Exeter Contemporary Programme) where she was trained by several, highly prestigious choreographers such as Tim Noble and Merville Jones.

Charlie gained her Level 2 in Exercise to Music in 2022, and her most recent qualification of Level 3 in Teaching Mat Pilates in March 2023.

Charlie thrives to continue her training where possible and will take part in workshops of all styles to ensure that her style remains versatile.

Charlie is proud of her South West training, and her passion is to give back to the Cornish community by teaching and reaching out to not just Cornish youth, but also the adults.
